What's Your Story? Here's Mine.

Interior spaces tell a story. Ideally it's a beautiful one about the people who live there, elements of their lives collected and reflected in a way that is uniquely their own. This is mine.

Hi! I'm Andrena di Donato Felger. I love creating beautiful spaces. What started as a passion has evolved into a career, and there's nothing I love to do more. My own home is a constantly evolving reflection of where I am in life, as well as where I want to go.

“Great things do not just happen by impulse, but as a succession of small things linked together.” Vincent Van Gogh

My own experiences have brought me to a place where I'm whole-heartedly dedicated to helping others positively transform their environment. I'm motivated not only by my belief that we all deserve to be surrounded by beauty, but also by my understanding about the profound impact that our surroundings have on the way we feel.

Long Story Short: How I Got Where I Am Now

As early back as I can remember, I began rearranging the furniture in my family's home and styling the windows of my grandparents' store. Somehow I ended up becoming a tax lawyer, working at one of the largest global firms. As a break from my strategic thinking, I would research all things creative for my latest project.

While I studied for the bar, I renovated a midcentury cottage. That house was the catalyst for what would become a series of renovations, and ultimately, a career in design. The creative transformation of space is my passion and I have come to appreciate how much an authentically meaningful space is essential to supporting a positive outlook in life.

I ultimately left the law when I became a mom. I was lucky enough to be able to focus on my littles while renovating the house of my dreams. That house landed me in an episode of HGTV, and from there publication in a book by Rizzoli. After a lot of hard work (on the inside and out), my design business truly took to bloom.

As life would have it, the proverbial white picket fence did not last forever. In what felt like an instant, almost everything in my life shifted (and none of it had been part of my grand plan). Next up, my life chapter on letting go. And a wonderful lesson on the importance of creating a space that feels like home.

Part of my big shift involved bidding farewell to my dream house.
